The market takes place in one of our capital's most beautiful locations - on the iconic Castle Street. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, our market looks out onto the busy and vibrant Princes Street. On the other side of the market, the lively atmosphere of Rose Street and George Street adds to the unique charm that makes this location a favourite for locals, tourists, and visitors alike.

It’s been another brilliant and vibrant year on Castle Street, with a wonderful mix of returning exhibitors and new faces bringing creativity, great products and plenty of colour to the heart of Edinburgh. A huge thank you to everyone who has traded with us and supported the market throughout 2026!

And the year isn’t over yet. With our October Market and four festive weeks still ahead, there are still opportunities to join us on Castle Street before we round off another fantastic year!

Our team supports exhibitors throughout the trading days, with 3x3m gazebos provided and overnight security throughout each market.

Most of our markets run for seven days, with extended trading periods around Easter, Edinburgh’s unique Festival season and, of course, the magical Christmas period - making the most of the extra buzz these times of year bring to the city.
