TEAM fashionABLE is back on the runway for yet another inspiring fashion show, taking place on the 8th of November at the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh. This event aims to platform and promote diversity, integrity and inclusion in the fashion industry, as well as society through exciting fashion. FashionABLE this autumn will be focusing on Year of Youth, led by and for young people, but no matter your age you are welcome to be in touch! This is a non for profit event.

Covered by STV, BBC and Edinburgh Evening news, fashionABLE was launched in September 2016 - highlighting that diversity in life does not mean exclusion from the catwalk - as people of all ages, shapes, cultures, abilities and/or disabilities took part in the show and were received by large enthusiastic crowds.

After two successful events https://ethical.tv/2017/11/07/fashionable-2017-waverley-station/ both held in a Edinburgh Waverley Station, this year’s fashion show will take place in the iconic Scottish Parliament, that has been chosen to raise awareness and celebrate Year or Youth, as well Global Citizenship and Global Learning.

Participating in this event will provide young people with all levels of abilities and disabilities with something very positive to be involved. We believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to be fully ingrained within this whole project, from the initial planning stages to the very delivery of the event -with all its aspects on the day (organising team, runway and decoration team, music & dance team, and/or modelling etc.).

This is an event that supports education, acceptance and equality, where young people will be at the heart of it all.

Please join and spread the word on this year’s fashionABLE platforming ‘empowerment’ and ‘global citizenship’ by young people and for young people.

You just gave an inspiring fashion blog! There is no limit in doing fashion when it comes to gender, age or ability of that person. As long as you can manage to be a model on a runway, you are good as that. This is such a role model in advertising fashion.
